Abiding in Jesus

"I am the vine, you are the branches; he who abides in Me and I in him, he bears much fruit, for apart from Me you can do nothing." ~ John 15:5

To abide in Jesus means to remain in close, continuous fellowship with Him, drawing our spiritual life and strength directly from Him. We actively abide by consistently engaging with His Word, seeking Him in prayer, and striving to obey His commands out of love. This deep connection allows His life to flow through us, enabling us to bear the fruit of the Spirit that glorifies God. Without this intimate dependence on Christ, our efforts to live a spiritual life are futile, for true spiritual fruitfulness is always a result of His work within us.
