Be Ready!
“Be dressed for service and keep your lamps burning, as though you were waiting for your master to return from the wedding feast. Then you will be ready to open the door and let him in the moment he arrives and knocks. The servants who are ready and waiting for his return will be rewarded. I tell you the truth, he himself will seat them, put on an apron, and serve them as they sit and eat!" ~ Luke 12:35-27 (NLT)
Our Lord Jesus calls us to live with a constant readiness, much like vigilant servants awaiting their master's return. He commands us to maintain a lifestyle of spiritual preparedness and active faith, keeping our hearts and minds focused on Him. This readiness is not about fear, but about eagerly anticipating Christ's glorious second coming. Truly blessed are those whom the Master finds awake and faithfully serving when He arrives. Therefore, let us live each day with intentional obedience and service, honoring Him in every aspect of our lives, so we may be found ready and receive His incredible blessing.
